We have started a poll to investigate your interests for future cups here. Now you have the possibilty to make us do what you want... almost. We will run this poll for a while and then take the results into our considerations about what will be next.

The 1st public SpA cup has ended yesterday. Both the finals and the 3rd place decider have been played and here are the overall results:

These were some really nice and quite close duels and we will add some recordings soon. You can also check some overall statistics here.

We had some difficulties during the cup, but we learned from them and will improve future cups accordingly. Please feel free to leave any feedback in the forum.

Finally we made it to the end of the cup, with only two matches left this has been a fun ride.

The decider for first place is played between Genoc1de and futari in a best of three, the maps are duel_inexistence_b3, duel_store and if a decider map is needed it will be duel_levor

The roads to success:
Genoc1de vs NabNab: 21-4
Genoc1de vs Sonny Black: 8-5
Genoc1de vs TheWeirdo: 23-9

futari vs Dr Bob: 25-12
futari vs Repel: 10-4
futari vs UndeadDruid: 14-11

This match takes place Friday at 8! Come watch!

The third place decider is played between TheWeirdo and UndeadDruid also under best of three rules, this match has not been scheduled as of yet!

We're lucky! The 2nd semi final between Genoc1de and [SpA]TheWeirdo can be played today so we will know our finalists in a couple of hours.

Due to that we will start the last round tomorrow. In addition to that we're thinking about playing a 3rd place decider with the players who just missed the finals in the current round.

The week starts with an up to date update. All quarter finals are played now and the semi finals are matched:

1) [SpA]futari vs [SpA]UndeadDruid
We had this matchup in the test cup already, where futari beat UndeadDruid on duel_levor. This match will be played tonight.

2) Genoc1de vs [SpA]TheWeirdo
Both did a nice job to get into the semi finals. This match will be played (hopefully) on Wednesday.

So the official time period for round III is Monday to Wednesday. The played map is duel_inexistence_b3.

Independent from that we made two little additions to the rules. One rule about a draw (4.11) and one about stopping shooting as soon as the time is up (5.8.2). You can check the rules page or the forum for details.
